So I have two big language pet peeves right now. Most things, I can forgive, as I've certainly done more than my fair share of intentional and unintentional butchering. These things below bug me for reasons I do not understand. They're like nails on a chalkboard.

1) The use of 'of' where there should be 'have'. I want to scream when I see this. Especially in a press release.

2) People, particularly voice actors and actors, saying 'your' when they should be saying 'you're'. I know they're listed as homophones of one another but I really think they shouldn't be. It sounds wrong. 'You're' is a contraction of two words and should be pronounced as such. You're makes the same vowel sounds as 'you'. Your makes the 'ore' sound. Or it should.
