Language

So I have two big language pet peeves right now. Most things, I can forgive, as I've certainly done more than my fair share of intentional and unintentional butchering. These things below bug me for reasons I do not understand. They're like nails on a chalkboard.

1) The use of 'of' where there should be 'have'. I want to scream when I see this. Especially in a press release.

2) People, particularly voice actors and actors, saying 'your' when they should be saying 'you're'. I know they're listed as homophones of one another but I really think they shouldn't be. It sounds wrong. 'You're' is a contraction of two words and should be pronounced as such. You're makes the same vowel sounds as 'you'. Your makes the 'ore' sound. Or it should.

The Acid wants to be my friend.

So we're doing an operation in ToR. A couple people die, so we decide to jump into the acid to die and reset the encounter. Except the acid doesn't kill us. And we can't exit area while the encounter is still going.

Eventually the boss jumps into the acid and then the encounter resets.
